There isn’t a lot of astrological movement at the moment, allowing us to focus on last week’s effects, including the solar eclipse at the new moon, the start of Taurus season, and the start of Mercury retrograde. The Sun aligns with the North Node in the coming days, inviting a sense of purpose, understanding, evolution and awareness.

The Sun is in conjunction with the North Node

Lunar nodes in astrology are not celestial bodies like planets or asteroids. Rather, the North and South Nodes are geographic points in our cosmos calculated from the orbits of the Earth, Sun, and Moon.

In astrology, the lunar nodes represent the path of purpose that we are on. They talk about fate, fatum and karma. Each of us has our own Moon Nodes according to our birth chart, so we experience our unique destiny at the same time as feeling the influence of the collective placement of the Moon Nodes and the shared destiny of humanity.

For the past 15 months, the North Node has been in the grounded sign of Taurus. It encouraged us as a collective to heal and recreate our shared relationship with our Earth, self-esteem, finances and physical bodies.

This chapter will come to an end in July when the North Node moves into Aries. Before this shift occurs, the Sun will meet the North Node in Taurus on April 24, 2023, acting as the final spotlight on this shared journey we are all on.

The Sun, both in our solar system and in the understanding of astrology, is the central point. It is the source of life, the spark that is our Spirit and gives vitality. Whenever the Sun meets a planet—or, in this case, a specific location—in our cosmos, that vitality and vitality is shared with the subjects in question.

When the Sun conjuncts the North Node, we gain insight, vitality, and fateful events that feed into the shared purpose, path, and destiny of the Taurus North Node.

On this day and the days surrounding it, there is an invitation to think about your relationship with stability, security and finances, all Taurus themes. It is an encounter in space that highlights your journey with your physical body, your feelings and sensuality, your foundation for the present and future, and your connection to the constant movement through life and nature.

The lunar nodes remind us that the movements we make, the emotions we embody, and the steps we take are part of this shared path of destiny. As you heal, nourish, and evolve in a certain direction, so does humanity.
